What we care for
The Sunsasa Foundation is a small non-profit organization that provides food to the hungry, educational programs for children from impoverished families, supplies for schools serving impoverished communities, and medical treatment for those who cannot afford it. The goal of Sunsasa is to help alleviate some of the hardships faced by the world’s most vulnerable.
The Sunsasa Foundation was founded in 2022 by Sathish Saravanan when he realized that there were many people who simply did not have enough to eat or a place to live. In its early days, the foundation focused on distributing food during periods of natural disaster.
Nowadays Sunsasa provides a wide range of assistance to people across Thailand. Every year we donate millions of pounds of rice to communities hit by drought or natural disaster. We provide desks, chalkboards, and textbooks to schools that cannot afford them. We provide life-saving medical services to people who would otherwise go without help. We assist families living in remote areas by providing them with farming equipment, fishing boats, water pumps, clothing – whatever they might need.
