Homeless shelters? Food banks? If you’re thinking of any of these, then you’re certainly on the right track; these are all organizations that help people in need, and they all make great contributions to their local communities.
Sunsasa was founded by a group of friends who wanted to make an impact on their community. The first few years of its operation were spent researching the needs of the people of Africa. Eventually, we found that there was a desperate need for help with food and education.
What we do
The Sunsasa Foundation is a small non-profit organization that provides food to the hungry, educational programs for children from impoverished families, supplies for schools serving impoverished communities, and medical treatment for those who cannot afford it.

Through donations of money, goods and services, we help to meet the needs of people who live in poverty.

Our numbers that speak
– The foundation has helped over 300 families since its founding in 2022. – In the past six months, Sunsasa has distributed 50 tons of food for a total of 100 million meals. – Sunsasa is committed to sustainability by donating surplus food from the US that is past its expiration date. – Sunsasa educates communities on sustainable farming practices and how to produce their own healthy foods by planting trees and gardens. – The foundation’s volunteers teach children about nutrition and other topics through games and stories.
